Poland
Magda Niernsee is a graduate of Kathak Kendra, National Institute of Kathak Dance in New Delhi (completed a three-year diploma honors course and scholarship holder of the Indian Government from 2009-2013). She is a disciple of the famous Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj, a master of Lucknow gharana. She is also a graduate of Warsaw's Academy of Fine Arts. She has been practicing Indian dance since 1998. She initially started with Bharatanatyam and semi-classical Bollywood, but Kathak became her biggest passion since 2006. She is currently teaching and performing in Poland. She continues to take part in many workshops by her Guru Pt Jai Kishan Maharaj as well as with Aditi Mangaldas, Akaash Odedra, Kadamb Institute of Dance, and Sanjukta Sinha. Michael Rudaś (vocal)
Michael is a vocalist known to a wide television audience from programs such as: "What's the Melody" (2004-2009), "Dance with the Stars," the Adam Sztaba and Tomek Szymuś Orchestra (2005-2017), “The Voice of Poland” (quarterfinals of the 4th edition), “Your Face Sounds Familiar” (finalist of the 6th edition). In 2018 he participated in the Indian talent show "Dil Hai Hindustani 2", reaching the semi-finals and gaining huge popularity among the Indian audience. Fascinated by the culture of India, during his many journeys to this country he took lessons of classical Indian singing with Anup Misra, lecturer of Sanskrit University of Varanasi. | Instagram
Piotr Malec (tabla)
Piotr is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in playing tabla. He also plays instruments such as cajon, darabuka, djembe, and hoop drums as well as other Indian instruments: mridangam, khanjira, and dholak. He has studies with well-known Polish and Indian teachers like Jerzy Pomianowski, Ghiridar Udupa, Prosenjit Poddar and in India, Udaya Rajkarpoor in Bangalore and with Sandesha Popatkar in Nagpur. He has performed numerous concerts in Poland and abroad (Germany, Italy, Israel, India, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina) with Anup Misra, Uday Rajkarpoor, Anandita Basu, Amit Chakraborty, Michał Czachowski, and Maria Pomianowska. He took part in the recording of “Indian Impressions” an album by Amit L Chakraborty & Lucyan. | Instagram
Tomasz "Ragaboy" Osiecki (dilruba)
Tomasz has collaborated with Hey, Kayah, Ania Rusowicz, Michał Rudas T.Love, Sorry Boys, Halina Młynkowa, Anna Jurksztowicz, Lari Lu, Pawbeats, and he also composed for Mela Koteluk. As a guitarist he is associated with the band ISLE OF LOVE. Sita games are taught, among others with Alokesh Chandra (student of Pandit Ravi Shankar). He has a solo album "Golden Sitar Star" and 2 albums Healing Incantation, of which the last "Mystic India" recorded together with the vocalist Michał Rudas. | Instagram
