Shuheb Hasan

Shuheb Hasan belongs to a family of Moradabad Gharana. He is a versatile singer with a soulful and melodious voice. He started his vocal training from the great sarangi legend Ustad Siddique Ahmed Khan Saheb. Shuheb is blessed to get his further training from the well-known sarangi maestro Ustad Ghulam Sabir Khan Saheb. Ustad ji not only taught this dynamic singer his precious techniques of singing but also infused never ending love an passion for music in his heart.

Born in a family of musicians Shuheb got music in his blood, his Grandfather Ustad Ali Hasan Khan Saheb was well known cello player and his maternal great grandfather Aman Ali khan Saheb, Ustad Chajju Khan Saheb and Ustad Nazeer Khan saheb were very famous vocalist. His maternal grandfather Ustad Shabban Khan Saheb was also a renowned Tabla player.

Shuheb has a good vocal technique, a large vocal range and the quality to express the emotion of every song. His voice goes well with Hindustani classical, Semi Classical as well as soulful Sufi. He also performs Khayal Gayaki with his elder brother Zohaib Hasan.

Shuheb Hasan is the main vocalist of India’s most innovative and exciting band SOUL SAMVAD, which has performed in many cities of India including five countries tour of Africa.

He is also the lead vocalist of the group seven essence which includes seven dynamic artists of the country- 

Ustad Akram Khan (Tabla), Ustad Murad Ali Khan (Sarangi), Ustad Fateh Ali Khan ( Sitar), Sushri Mahua Shankar ( Kathak),

Pt. Rupak Kulkarni (Flute), Shuheb Hasan (Vocal), Sushri Nupur Shankar (Story teller).

He is also a member of International Band REBEL DEWANA which runs by the dynamic musician, poet and composer Titi Robin.

Working with such big names and eminent artists Shuheb got the inspiration to form his own band. He started his band ABEER with his sibling Zohaib Hasan, who himself is a wonderful vocalist. ABEER is spreading the colors of Sufi and Thumri among the music lovers since last two years and gaining popularity day by day.

PERFORMANCES IN INDIA

Shuheb Hasan also performed with eminent Kathak artist like Guru Rani Khanam ji, Guru Shovana Narayan ji, Guru Rajendra Gangani, Ram Mohan Maharaj, Krishan Mohan maharaj, Guru Nandini Singh ji, Sushri Mahua Shankar ji, Sushri Malti Shyam ji, Sushri Vidha & Abhimanyu Lal ji, Deepak Maharaj and many more.

He has performed in many prestigious festivals like Jahan-e-Khusro an international sufi festival, Tajjali by Janab Muzaffar ali, Basant Bahar festival by Delhi, Saurang Festival DoorDarshan, Khajuraho Festival, Rang Manch Puna Festival, Minjar Festival, Maharna Kumbh Udaipur, Kalidas Samaroh, Sankatmochan, Surya Festival, Khairagarh Sangeet Samaroh, Ibtida Music and Dance Festival, Neemrana fort, Ganaga Mahotsava, Maha Kumbh Festival, Taj Mahotsava, Nisha Gandhi Festival etc.
