Svetlana Tulasi (born August 30, 1991 in Moscow, Russia) was born to a mixed Indian & Russian family. Svetlana is a trained Indian Classical Kathak dancer with over 20 years of experience performing and teaching worldwide. Her Guru ji is a Russian graduate of the National Institute of Kathak - Kathak Kendra (Delhi, India), named Yekaterina Yurievna Seliviorstova (Katya ji), who got her training from Smt. Urmila Nagar ji (Jaipur Gharana of Kathak), a Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee. Svetlana holds a BA in Kathak Dance from Prayag Sangeet Samiti University of Indian Classical Music & Dance (Allahabad, India). Svetlana is the star of an upcoming sci-fi feature film "The Xenophobes" produced by Epistrophy Pictures (USA) set to release in 2023. Svetlana's performance at the Ukraine's Got Talent TV show in 2013 has gone viral with over 20 million views to date. Since then she has had multiple TV appearances: Russia's Got Talent in 2017 with Kumar Sharma, So You Think You Can Dance (Ukraine) as a choreographer, in 2015 Dance Plus (India) in 2017 with Kumar Sharma and many others. Svetlana recently starred as a lead in several Bollywood music videos including Zee Music Company's "Hanju - Tears of Happiness" by Vanit Bakshi and Sufiscore's "Laage Re Main" by Pratibha Singh Baghel.
